Government surveillance of civil society using Pegasus software
Hundreds of Azerbaijani individuals, primarily Government critics (activists, human rights defenders and journalists) were among those whose phone numbers were included in leaked lists of targets for potential surveillance by repressive governments using Pegasus software.
EHRAC and partners are representing a group of those who were targeted in front of the European Court of Human Rights to challenge the Azerbaijani government’s use of Pegasus spyware.
